The number 5, that is.

               

But in another sense, nothing is.

Then there’s this number: 929 with this post.

Here’s our takeaway.  We’ve spent the last five years ‘publishing’ this blog.  That’s a lot of time that could have been spent on other things, though we’re not sure what they would have been.  During that time, we’ve ‘printed’  more than 900 items.  That number scares us; an average of more than 3 per week.

We must be nuts for doing this.  If you’ve been a loyal reader, you must be even more nuts than we are.

                

None the less, we’re very thankful for our loyal readership, and we’re going to make a special gesture in your honor.  Free and unlimited access to our ‘digital’ publication is available to all, until further notice.

                       

We want to do whatever we can to light your way, in a manner of speaking.  We’re not sure how long those little candles will burn, but we’ll take it one year at a time.  Timing is everything, including choosing the time to go down in flames.
